Sales Funnel vs Landing Page
Last reviewed: September 2026
A landing page is a page; a sales funnel is the sequence and logic around the visitor's journey.
The landing page role
A landing page usually has one main goal, such as capturing a lead or presenting an offer.
The funnel role
The funnel connects that page to what happens next: confirmation, email follow-up, checkout, upsell, scheduling, delivery, or another step.
When one page is enough
Simple campaigns may need only a landing page and a thank-you action. More complex offers benefit from a deliberate sequence.
